PE & Sport Provision
Since 2013, all UK schools have received funding from the Department for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport. The purpose of this funding is to improve the provision of PE, school sport, mental health and wellbeing. This funding is additional to the school’s budget and schools decide how to allocate it to best support and improve their provision of physical education and sport in order to encourage healthy active lifestyles which enable our children to become physically literate.
Sports Premium
From the outset Bishop Martin has been committed to allocate strategically the Sports Premium funding with a view to ensuring sustainable long term benefits beyond the period of the additional funding.
