Welcome to Year Five!

Reading

Reading is such an important element of the curriculum and it is important that you encourage your children to reach as much as possible! Your child has been given a reading book that they should read and return to school each day, this has been carefully allocated using our school book band system. 

PE

PE days are Monday and Thursday - please ensure your child wears the correct PE kit and removes all jewellery.

Homework

Children will bring homework and spellings home each Friday, they have a week to complete the allocated work. Homework is alternative each week, Maths and English, which will be consolidation of learning that we have completed in class.
