Important Class Information

Reading:

Reading is an important element of the curriculum. We are continuing to use Bug Club as a resource for home reading; your child has been allocated a variety of books on Bug Club that will support their level of reading. Children will also be bringing home a book that is appropriate to their reading ability, please ensure that your child reads at least three times a week and that this is recorded in their record. In class, the children will read texts that challenge their ability with a number of adults.

 PE:

This year we continue to use West Lancashire Schools Sports Partnership to deliver our PE lessons each week, this day remains as Wednesday. Please ensure that your child brings their PE kit to school on a Wednesday and that all jewellery is removed.

Snack:

If your child would like a piece of toast during morning break please ensure they bring 20p each day or £1 for the week.

 

Homework:

Your children will be receiving homework and spellings each Thursday, they are expected to return this to school the following Thursday. All of the learning that your children bring home will link closely to their learning in school.
