Severe Weather Notification

Dear Parents, Carers and Staff,

The upcoming weather forecast is very cold with possible wintery showers.

We will be following our Severe Weather Risk Assessment to keep the school grounds accessible.

However there will still be a risk of slips and trips. We would like to remind you:

• that suitable footwear is warn (also warm clothing, hats, gloves, coats etc)
• do not rush or run
• do not walk with your hands in your pockets
• do not carry heavy loads
• keep to gritted footpaths as much as possible. .

(Please remind children of this too)

We would also ask you to be cautious when traveling by vehicle to school, especially the side roads as these are not gritted by WLBC. When dropping and collecting children please keep the access to school and Beechwood Court clear for emergencies, using the old church car park when available.
