Siams 2015-16 Report:

‘Inspiring and creatively planned lessons ensure that children enjoy RE. ‘

‘The children’s knowledge of aspects of Christianity, such as the nature of God and the importance of Jesus and his teaching, is excellent.’

‘The children’s SMSC development is nurtured through the range of activities within RE lessons and opportunities to enhance understanding of Christian values are frequent.’

‘Assessment procedures are robust, however marking in workbooks does not consistently focus on developing and deepening understanding.’

Bibles

This year we got in touch with Bibles for Children. We felt it was important for our children to have their own bible to use in school so they can explore the stories and teachings of Jesus at their leisure, as well as to use to support their learning in Religious Education lessons.

The Bishop of Liverpool visits Bishop Martin!

Bishop Martin were the proud hosts of a very special guest, Bishop Paul! The Bishop of Liverpool visited our school to officially open and bless our Values Walk. Y5 Giraffes had the best seats in the house, with the Bishop blessing the Values Walk right outside our classroom!
