Fruit Caterpillar
We have been learning about time in Maths his week and we created a fruit caterpillar. We talked about the sequence of events during this activity.
Hibernation Station.
Butterflies used the natural resources that they had collected to make our class teddy Pip a suitable place to hibernate.
Autumn Outdoor Fun
The Butterflies have really enjoyed exploring outdoors this week and have discussed the changes we hear, see and feel during Autumn.
Remembrance Sunday
We created sun catcher poppies for Remembrance Day and Mrs Bullen sat with the children and talked about her Grandfather who was in the war. The children read the story Sully and looked at lots of old photographs of Mrs Bullen’s Grandad and family.
Autumn
Butterflies have been learning all about Autumn this week. We have created some amazing work including playdough hedgehogs and our own leaf people.
Values Week
During this week the children have been learning all about our school values. We have read bible stories linked to love, hope, kindness, trust and respect.
Harvest Time
During our Harvest theme we used some vegetables to print patterns and also created portraits using natural resources found in the garden.
Bonfire Week
This week we are learning all about bonfire Night and have been creating are own firework print art using pipe cleaners, glitter and paint.
